Stations in the Pyrénées were found to be the most affordable in the survey, with the stations of Guzet Neige and Cauterets both costing somewhat less than €400 per station. Les Angles, another Pyrenean station, finished in fourth place, with a weekly rent of €430.
When traveling through the Alps, the most affordable stations were Super Dévoluy (€425) and Chamrousse (€430).
The Haute-Savoie stations of Val d’Isère (€806), Megève (€755), and Méribel (€714) were first, second, and third, respectively, on the list of the most expensive locations.
Not only did the survey reveal that the cost of accommodation varied significantly, ranging from €549 (Guzet Neige) to €1,557 (Val d’Isère), but it also revealed that the cost of ski passes and equipment varied significantly as well.
