The trailer and poster for the upcoming western action-adventure picture Hostile Territory, which takes place during the American Civil War, are premiering exclusively on Ntertainment. It was announced earlier this year that Saban Films had acquired the rights to distribute the picture in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Due to the COVID pandemic, the film, which was initially dubbed The Orphan Train, suffered some problems throughout production.
Hostile Territory is based on a true story and follows former prisoner of war Jack Calgrove (Brian Presley), who defies Heaven and Earth in order to be reunited with his children after the Civil War. When Jack returns home, he discovers that his wife has tragically died and that his children, presumed orphans, are traveling deep into the West on a train that is crossing enemy lines with the goal of being placed in new families. Calgrove and another soldier join forces with a group of Native American sharpshooters and a freed slave in an attempt to stop the train from passing through. Among the other actors in the picture are Matt McCoy (The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Brea Bee (Silver Linings Playbook), Brad Leland (Deepwater Horizon), Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects), and Craig Tate (King Richard).
