Meta Spark AR certification free for first 2000 registration
A rapidly growing but thriving marketplace for professional talent is emerging as the Spark AR ecosystem continues to expand: today, more agencies and brands are seeking skilled creators to build augmented reality experiences for Facebook and Instagram, and more creators are specializing in Spark AR to advance their careers and compete for paid opportunities.
This expanding market was one of the motivating factors for the introduction of the Spark AR Curriculum, a free, online learning curriculum meant to assist beginner-level producers in learning how to construct augmented reality experiences utilizing the Spark AR platform. As of this writing, more than 22,000 artists have enrolled in our augmented reality fundamentals course, making it one of the most popular courses accessible through Facebook Blueprint.

While at Facebook Connect, there was a sneak peek at several new additions to the AR Curriculum for professional creators, including the launch of Facebook’s first Certified Spark AR Creator program and the introduction of a new AR Professional course that teaches advanced concepts and toolsing techniques. Additionally, if you are new to Spark AR, we will be releasing additional course updates that you may find useful.
Spark AR creators who have completed a formal training program will now have the option to demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency with the technology by earning the Facebook Certified Spark AR Creator badge, which will be available for the first time.
The certification program is intended for advanced-level augmented reality creators who want to distinguish their augmented reality skills in the marketplace, either to help boost their careers or to pursue more creator-for-hire opportunities with brands and agencies. Who Should Take Part in the Certification Program?
If you want to become certified, you must first pass a proctored virtual exam, which is given through Facebook Blueprint. A year-long cooperation with numerous Spark AR partners and creators resulted in the identification and definition of essential criteria (e.g., knowledge and abilities) that can be used to fairly evaluate and acknowledge Spark AR competence. This exam is the outcome of that effort.
A practice test will also be available online to assist creators in preparing for the certification exam. You can use this to determine whether or not you are ready to take the certification exam and where you may need to spend extra time preparing for the certification examination.
After passing the exam, creators will be awarded a Facebook Certified Spark AR Creator badge, which serves as both a credential that can be shared wherever you choose, such as on social media, in a portfolio, or on a resume, and a digital record of certification that can be reliably verified online after passing the exam.
In order to participate in the certification exam, you must pay $150 USD. However, Facebook will provide vouchers to cover the entire exam fee for the first 2,000 creators who sign up for our interest list.
